This Rolex watch is in good, attractive vintage condition. The case is in good condition with normal signs of wear. The blue-back "Pepsi" bezel is in great, honest condition and has remained vibrant; it is a later service replacement. The dial is in attractive condition and has developed patina/ spotting throughout; this can be hard to notice depending on the lighting. The edge of the dial has some wear/ small chips in the paint that can also be hard to notice. The lume plots on the dial have aged to an attractive and even pale cream color with a bit of brown in the middle giving it a roasted marshmallow look. The hands have developed light patina and the lume in the hands have been color corrected to match the color of the lume on the dial; they work well together. The Oyster bracelet is in great condition overall with normal wear and a bit of stretch between the links which is very common for this style bracelet.
The GMT Master is Rolex?s signature pilot?s watch, complete with dual-time capabilities. It came to market in 1955, with ref. 1675 following shortly after in 1959. It?s one of the most sought-after vintage Rolex watches on the secondary market because it?s instantly recognizable with its 24-hour bezel and dedicated GMT hand. The Rolex 1675 was also notably the first GMT Master to use crown guards. Rolex initially used glossy dials in the 1675 until around 1966 and switched to matte dials.
It was very common for Rolex to change and update watches when they come in for routine service and that is exactly what happened to this watch. This watch is circa 1969 and would have been born with a matte dial; the current dial is a later matte replacement and if you didn't know the year it would look like a later 70s 1675. These all serviced up examples offer a great value and are ideal for daily wearers and this one has that undeniable vintage charm!

Great watch and very good help from Sam Berger who catered to my concerns.

Well represented watch in excellent condition. Super fast shipping. My second purchase from Bobs but not my last. Their watches seem to be in better condition than many of the others I’ve seen online.
The whole transaction process with Bob's is always top notch. The vintage watch was functioning as expected, the case is relatively strong with minimal polishing, and the dial is a beautiful service dial as expected.
I really like this beautiful 1675 with fuchsia bezel.
Quick e-mail responses, systematic
I have worn this watch everyday for 47 years, had it cleaned every 8 or so years, had the bezel replaced with the new one back in the 80s. Paid $400 in Switzerland in 1970. This is the greatest lifetime deal ever!!
