The 16528 Rolex Daytona is the coveted Zenith Daytona in all gold. When Rolex's now-iconic chronograph debuted, it initially relied on a manual-winding movement. That was replaced in the 5-digit series with the El Primero cal. 4030, which was produced by Zenith and then modified in-house to remove the date and to beat at a rate of 28,800 bph. This edition of the Daytona is incredibly prized among those who appreciate Rolex history and can be yours today in excellent secondhand condition. Its feature set includes a handsome satin and polished 18kt yellow gold finish, a traditional flat-link Oyster bracelet, and a classy white dial adorned with diamond hour markers and contrasting chronograph registers.
