Description: Rolex Datejust 16253
Pre-owned Rolex Datejust ref 16523 (1986) hails from the first generation of Thunderbird models to sport the caliber 3035 self-winding movement with a Quickset date. With this upgrade, the wearer can adjust the date display with a quick twist of the crown, compared to previous models that required advancing the hour hand 24 hours to change the date. Aside from the movement, ref. 16253 features the same 36mm case size. It also sports a rather unique rotating bezel with a barked texture that matches the sunray finish of the silver dial quite nicely on this model. This Rolex is truly collection-worthy and features Tritium lume in a nice patina, an acrylic crystal, and the famous Rolex Jubilee bracelet with 5-piece links.
