Description: Rolex Datejust 1603
Pre-owned Rolex Datejust ref 1603 (1978) boasts the instantly recognizable Rolex dress watch aesthetic many collectors are searching for, including a 36mm waterproof Oyster case, the famous 5-piece link Jubilee bracelet, a self-winding mechanical movement, and the ever-present date mechanism at 3 o'clock. What sets this ref. 1603 apart from other models are its unique vintage design elements. The case is surrounded by an older-style engine-turned bezel and features a thicker acrylic crystal. Additionally, the time is displayed on a striking silver Pie Pan dial via stick indices, three centrally-mounted hands, and Tritium that has since aged to a lovely light yellow color.
