The legendary Gerald Genta developed the Nautilus in 1976. At its release, it was an innovation, featuring an unusually large case and striking octagonal case designed to resemble the oval-shaped portholes on the Submarine in the novel 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Today, the collection includes a variety of design options to suit nearly any wrist.
