Pre-owned Breitling Superocean ref A17376211C1S1 (2023) is a modern expression of the famed dive watch, featuring a design set heavily inspired by the Slow Motion scuba diving watch from the 1960s. Developed for ultimate underwater legibility, the watch leaves out other design elements that might otherwise impede its readability while timing various events while diving. For example, the time is displayed with large, luminescent hour markers and chunky, square-tipped hands. Additionally, a 60-minute scale is presented on a contrasting ring on the flange. The bezel is uni-directional and features a virtually indestructible ceramic insert and easy-to-grip serrated edges, and the case is rated waterproof up to 300 meters/1,000 feet - the perfect balance of 1960s dive watch DNA and modern Breitling. Other features include the celebrated caliber B17 self-winding mechanical movement, scratch-resistant sapphire, Super-LumiNova, and a sporty blue rubber strap secured by a folding clasp.
